Join a globally known group for professional services in the area of management consulting, and advisory. You will be involved in new and ongoing application projects for a global Risk Management System, enhancing the framework and creating lots of features with plenty of opportunity to learn, develop your technical & professional skills. Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of commercial experience in development under C#/.NET development
  • Experience with SQL Server, knowledge of T-SQL is an advantage
  • ASP.NET or TFS is good to have
  • Knowledge of Angular.js is a strong advantage
  • Fluent English required, other languages are an advantage (Polish, Hungarian, etc.)
  • Eager to learn, communicative personality, able to work independently

Take part in a newly created team focused on performance engineering based on C#/.NET, SQL, and large scale distributed systems. You will analyse the performance characteristics of the risk platform and recommend changes to improve performance. Depending on the size of the changes some of these will be carried out directly. The role will be divided 75% development and 25% analysis.

Main Duties:

  • Design and Development of risk performance monitoring and reporting components.
  • Investigation of performance issues, identify performance bottle necks and work with development teams to justify, implement and monitor improvements.
  • Analysis of the performance characteristics of the risk platform, recommending improvements and in some cases doing the required development work.
  • Developing strong relationships with other development teams, risk management, support, QA and finance.
Required Skills:


  • Very strong general C#.NET 3.5/4.0
  • SQL Server/TSQL on an intermediate level
  • Experience of designing large scale distributed systems
  • Experience of performance analysis in large scale distributed systems
  • Test-driven development (Nunit / Rhino Mocks)
  • Ability to write high performance and high quality code in a team environment

Job Overview:
The MCS Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of our clients multitenant infrastructure and services. We are seeking a systems expert with operational experience with Microsoft technologies, Linux Operating Systems, backup up services, Hypervisors and Storage platforms. This challenging position requires a multitude of skills that will be put to use in new service deployments, service improvements, troubleshooting and planning and implementing changes.




Job Responsibilities:
- To work with technical colleagues in the MCS team on service developments and in the design and implementation of technical solutions.
- Liaise with Service Delivery Managers and third parties in order to resolve issues, plan and carry out changes to the services or to provide new infrastructure services.
- Troubleshoot upto 4th line technical problems, identify and implement workable solutions, keeping key parties informed of progress and resolution.
- Proactively identify re-occurring problems and suitable mechanisms for minimising these, documenting all configurations.
- Be creative in overcoming challenges presented by systems and application deployment.
- Ability to research ideas and concepts in order to source suitable technical solutions or to resolve complex problems.
- To keep abreast of developments in IT in order to enhance existing services and future developments.




Experience Required



- Five (5) years of enterprise Systems Administration experience
- Proficient with VMware vCenter and Hyper-V
- Experience in leveraging NAS and SAN storage. Particularly Netapp, Nexsan and EMC.
- Experience with backup and AV for up virtual servers. (Commvault preferred)
- Strong with MS Server 2008/13 SQL, Exchange and SharePoint.
- Strong VMware diagnostic, troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Strong communication and documentation skills (e.g. Visio, wiki, etc).
- Strong language skills.
- Strong customer support skills.
- Skilled in monitoring / diagnostic tools and technologies.

What would be your day to day job?

  • Lead and facilitate customer integration sessions to identify and document customer requirements

  • Ability to adapt support style to align with the technical capabilities of the customer

BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Consulting
  • Ability to compile status of all projects and provide regular reports to Management
  • Ability to work in a multi-functional team environment and influence others that impact success
