Linux Administrator

Work with the Infrastructure Operations team for the growth of Corporate Systems Product. As part of the system administration team within Infrastructure Operations, your responsibilities will be the operation and development of the Corporate Systems server landscape - physical and virtual on-premise and in the cloud. We are chasing for an experienced, self-motivated, brilliant brain who will help us maintain operational stability, optimize automation, and who is eager to help us move forward in adapting to new technologies, approaches and methodologies (eg DevOps, SRE).

Main duty and responsibilities:

· Daily operation of Linux / Unix Server including troubleshooting of server issues

· Maintenance of the monitoring system

· Installation of Linux / Unix Operating System on physical and virtual servers

· System management (upgrade, patching and tuning), capacity and performance management. Installation and upgrade of third party products

Configuration and support of Veritas Volume Manager (disk group management, snapshots functionality, file systems creation / grow / shrink / removal, etc.) and Veritas Cluster Server (custom dependencies, critical dependencies, network setup,

· Maintain and ensure high availability on server or application level (through clustering or stand-by hosts)

· Operation includes shifts and on-call duty distributed among the team (an average of 2 shifts or on-call duty per month may be expected)

Qualifications and required skills:

· University degree in Information Technology or equivalent

· 3 years of experience in System Administration in a highly critical environment

· Expertise in RedHat 5/6/7 (installation, system monitoring and maintenance, tuning and troubleshooting, etc.)

· Expertise in Veritas Volume Manager and Cluster Server is an advantage

· Expertise in at least one additional Unix system is an advantage

· Experience in automation of installation and deployment (RedHat Satellite, Puppet, Ansible, Docker) is an advantage

· Experience with Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google) server administration is an advantage

· Experience with monitoring tools is an advantage

· Good communication and analytical skills

· Ability to work in a team

· Ability to work in a highly critical production environment

· Willingness to take over responsibility

· Willingness to gain expertise on new technologies
