What you’ll be doing:
Develop REST APIs in Falcon framework with PostgreSQL and ElasticSearch as storage backends
Maintain content & metadata administration interface written in Django
Write unit tests and integration tests
Participate in development of mass encoding platforms
Strong Python coding skills (mid level at least)
Experience with writing REST APIs
Analytical and troubleshooting skills
English language well enough to be able to talk/write daily
Openness to new ideas and approaches
The below will set you apart from other applicants:
Familiarity with PostgreSQL and ElasticSearch
Experience with backend performance tuning and benchmarking
Knowledge of Falcon and Django frameworks
Experience with high volume deployments (uwsgi + gevent)
Experience with DevOps culture
